Grace Lam
Grace is a LEED accredited landscape designer with a passion for placemaking, sustainability, and climate resilience.
During her graduate studies, she excelled as a research assistant, collaborating with The Nature Conservancy on floodplain buyouts as a climate adaptation strategy. Her design research project, focused on collective land-based carbon sequestration solutions, earned her the WLA Student Merit Award in Research.
Before pursuing her Master of Landscape Architecture at Cornell University, Grace gained valuable experience as a sustainable design consultant in Hong Kong. Her work involved sustainability assessments for a range of projects, from residential developments to mixed-use properties and institutional buildings. Grace holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Management and Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
